Hope Valley Country Club is seeking a Pool Bartender for the season. This job is Wednesday-Sunday and seasonal.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to poolside guests in a courteous and timely manner.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the poolside bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing surfaces.

Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service and attending to their needs promptly.

Take and process drink orders accurately, ensuring compliance with age verification and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

Prepare garnishes and specialty cocktails according to standard recipes, as well as accommodating custom requests from guests.

Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and ingredients, and communicate with management to restock as needed.

Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of glassware, equipment, and food items.

Assist with special events and functions hosted at the pool area, including setup, breakdown, and serving of beverages as required.

Follow cash handling procedures, including accurately processing transactions, balancing cash drawer, and maintaining records of sales.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working as a bartender, preferably in a poolside or outdoor setting.

Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktail recipes and proper pouring techniques.

Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests of all ages and backgrounds.

Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail, especially during busy periods.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other pool staff and management.

Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS) is a plus.

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the club's operating schedule.
