Hope Rising Pregnancy Center is Hiring a Community Connections Coordinator - Greene County Near Xenia, OH
Objective of the position: Create a strong network of referral sources to meet the needs of pregnant women, parents, and relatives caring for children under 12 months of age and build relationships that encourage community agencies to refer clients to Hope Rising for pregnancy services.
Reports to: Director of Community Outreach
Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week, hourly
Scheduled Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday with occasional early morning, evenings, and weekends
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field or equivalent work experience desired
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, public speaking, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office

Complete the volunteer training and position orientation
Be able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision
Have a valid driver’s license
Essential functions:
Build relationships with community organizations through individual and group meetings
Build relationships with community organizations through participation in community initiatives, task forces, collaborations, and community meetings that address the needs of parents living in poverty
Promote the services of Hope Rising to community organizations
Conduct surveys and collect data related to community needs
Analyze data and report trends and observations
Develop a list of needed referrals for clients such as housing, food, job training, and childcare
Identify existing community organizations that are providing needed services
Identify gaps in services and conceptualize new programs to fill those gaps when appropriate
Collaborate with community-based organizations to host educational programs, resource fairs, workshops, conferences, and special events
Create and continually update Community Referral Manual
Create and continually update Job Manual and Timeline
Provide monthly written reports (by the 5th of every month) to the Director of Community Relations
Provide program statistics as needed
Physical and mental requirements:
Visual and auditory accuracy

Occasional reaching, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting and climbing
Frequent use of personal car (mileage reimbursement is available)

Read and interpret detailed specifications
Frequent lifting of 20 lbs. or more
The Community Connections Coordinator shall receive at least one annual written and oral evaluation by the Director of Community Outreach.
