Be an empowered advocate for social justice and support people with disabilities. We provide you with all the training you need to support to individuals with disabilities to live as independently as possible in a variety of settings, by assisting them in developing new skills to reach their goals.
We are looking for a DSP to join a team located in Norfolk near Old Dominion University.
The schedule for this position is:
Sunday through Thursday 7:00am-3:00pm
The wages for this position is $16.36-$19.36 an hour plus these amazing perks below

Qualifications
- Willing to attend a Red Cross First Aid training and aMedication Management training that we pay you to attend
- Want to learn and grow professionally, we promote from within
- Ability to carry out the physical requirements of this position which include but are not limited to: lifting up to 50 pounds several times per shift as needed, ascending and descending stairs several times per shift, pushing and pulling wheelchairs and sitting, standing, and walking for periods of time throughout a shift as needed.
- Must have a valid Drivers License andreliable transportation during work hours.
- Must have a satisfactory criminal history check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to assist individuals with completing activities of daily living.
- Experience through education or work history that demonstrates reliability/dependability.
- Skill to complete satisfactorily: Medication Certification, Medicaid Waiver Certification, First Aid/CPR, Mandt, and other requirements associated with orientation.
