We are seeking a full-time registered nurse for an on-site position in the Columbus, Ohio, metropolitan area. The Registered Nurse will be key in providing comprehensive nursing care and services to our clients. Their day-to-day tasks will include performing physical assessments, administering medications and treatments, assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring clients' progress, and communicating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct initial health evaluations and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with physicians.

- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, medication management, and cleaning and dressing wounds.

- Monitor patient health and update care plans accordingly.

- Document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team.

- Instruct patients and their families on proper home care.

- Educate on improving safety at home.

- Detect early symptoms that could lead to a hospital visit.

- Supervise LPNs and home health aides.

- Communicate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN)

- At least two years of experience in home health nursing or home care is preferred.

- Proficiency in creating and following care plans.

- Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision in a home care setting.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- CPR and First Aide certification is often required.

- Must have a driver’s license, and access to dependable transportation is required.

- Excellent Knowledge of electronic health records and computer skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with electronic health records and Attention to detail.
