PRN Hospice Aide/CNA - Collin County/Denton County Service Area

Hope Health Care is looking for a compassionate and experienced Hospice Aide/CNA - PRN to join our growing team on mission to inspire and encourage all people facing life-limiting illness through impeccable care, education, and emotional support to insist that every day counts and every person's story matters.

The primary functions of this role includes:

Visit patient homes and nursing facilities in Collin & Denton Counties and surrounding areas.
To provide compassionate and professional personal care to include activities of daily living: feeding, bathing, dressing, assisting with ambulation.
Assist patients with light household chores and light meal prep.

The ideal candidate must:

Understand the hospice philosophy and the needs of the terminally ill.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be an excellent communicator.
Possess the desire and skill set necessary to work with patients at the end of life.
Demonstrate Hope Health Care's agency values - compassion, dignity, integrity, professionalism, balance and growth.

Primary qualifications include:

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a current certification in Texas.
At least two years experience in a hospice setting preferred
Possess excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written and be able to follow clinical direction.
