Hope Center Ministries – Seasonal Accounting Support Specialist

The Seasonal Accounting Support Specialist is part of the Central Support finance team who supports business operations during peak seasons such as fundraising and audit seasons on a part-time basis, which could range from one week to a few months, as needed. Responsibilities for this specialist will often include data entry, phone calls, various reconciliations of data, research, and other administrative responsibilities. Even more importantly, this role is part of a resident’s journey to and through recovery. We are a rapidly growing discipleship recovery program with 45 centers across the U.S. and over 1,000 residents in the program, and we won’t stop there! HCM exists to lead addicts and their families to become fully devoted followers of Christ. As a result, we are a witness to the restoration of lives, families, and communities, all because of Jesus!

• Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn how to use Sage Intacct accounting software and other software such as Square, Pushpay, etc.
• Ability to navigate a variety of computer software and databases at one time
• Knowledgeable about accounting
• Prior experience in financial, accounting, or administrative roles

What You’ll Do

• Retrieve data from various sources and systems
• Enter income or expense information into accounting software
• Place and answer phone calls as needed
• Research a variety of topics, as needed
• Internal audits, checks, and balances
• Track and report relevant information
• Retrieve and upload files to folders and systems
• Reconcile accounts using various systems and platforms
• Train and equip others in various accounting practices
• Other duties as assigned
