Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that all facilities are safe and well-cared for.

Duties:

- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways, lobbies, basement and stairways
- Pick up debris and clutter around the outside perimeters of the building
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures. Other tasks may also be assigned such as cleaning units.

Experience:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
