What the Nurse Supervisor will do:

• Responsible for ensuring schedule of nursing staff on weekend on Day and Evening Shift.
• Provide quality care appropriate to the ages and needs of the residents served.
• Perform assessments of new and current residents.
• Rounding on units, checking in with floor staff and residents.
• Participates in giving and receiving report from Night Shift Supervisor.
• Communicate with Nursing Administration ensuring continuum from week and weekend care.

 Saturday/Sunday day AND evening shift. 

Requirements

 Our ideal Nurse Supervisor candidate:
We’re looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Weekend Nurse Supervisor with a compassionate mindset and a passion for helping seniors. A self-starter with enthusiasm and initiative. This team member who loves caring for residents and knows how to develop lasting trust.

• Current, valid RN or LPN state license
• A nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university
• Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and makes quick decisions
• Can foster good resident and family relationships
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment
• A passion for working with elderly residents
• Experience in a long-term care required
