We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Manager/ restaurant manager AND SEAFOOD CHEF to join our team. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food production and service. If you have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a background in restaurant or SEAFOOD kitchen management, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Oversee food production and ensure consistent quality and presentation
- Develop and update menu offerings in collaboration with the executive chef
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability
Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a SEAFOOD or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Experience with interviewing and hiring staff
- Ability to effectively manage shifts and prioritize tasks
