Job Summary:
The Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in driving the Sacramento facilities purchasing, procurement and sourcing functions to minimize the facility’s overall procurement costs without compromising quality or reliability of supply.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Develops and implements the production planning and procurement of direct materials
•Responsible for the leadership of the Planning and Procurement teams in Sacramento
•Measures, analyzes and improves direct material inventory turns, adherence to MOQ, and bill of materials accuracy and obsolesce by implementation of corrective action and process enhancements.

•Works and builds relationships cross functionally within the Sacramento facility and throughout the organization.
•Supports site objectives and goals that are set by the facility.
•Leads strategic supplier relationship management (SRM) programs that focus on quality, productivity, and innovation which drive synergies for the facility.
•Leads a ‘center of excellence’ that provides processes, tools, and best practices (e.g., spend analytics, regression, should-cost modeling, training) Support SAP – best practices
•Manages relationships/partnerships with suppliers for the facility.
•Develops and implements the production planning and controls purchasing and distribution activities of the facility.
Education and Experience:
•BA/BS Degree in Supply Chain
•APICS certifications in CSCP or CPIM preferred
•5-10 years in Operations Management/Supply Chain Management, experience in cross functional teams.
•SAP and Master Requirements Planning systems experience
•Apply leadership, coaching and influencing skills to run cross-functional teams and drive projects forward, ensuring time and resources are used effectively and efficiently to meet project and business objectives.
•Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, with minimal oversite
