Hood Law Firm is Hiring a Litigation Paralegal Near Charleston, SC

- Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities
- Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Review and summarize deposition transcripts, medical records, and other case-related documents
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel for scheduling and document production
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, trials, and other court proceedings
- Manage document databases and electronic filing systems
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and answering phone calls

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred
- Proven experience as a litigation paralegal or similar role - 3 years experience preferred
- Proficient in using document management systems (e.g., iManage) and legal research tools
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and review
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
