Job Overview:

Our swim school is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team. We are a mobile swim school, so an active driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required. The right candidate will have experience training and teaching swimming lessons to children of all ages. We're interested in hiring someone who enjoys working with children and will take the initiative to develop lesson plans and train others in the art of swimming. The swim instructor is also responsible for completing administrative tasks and managing their own schedule.

Responsibilities:

* Support swimmers in their strokes and techniques.

* Monitor swimmers in the water and educate them on how to swim safely.

* Be aware of weather conditions and adjust the lesson plans accordingly.

* Plan lesson plans according to the swimmers' level and ability.

* Set goals for swimmers; help them achieve their goals.

Qualifications:
- First aid certification (required)

- Lifeguard certification (preferred)

- CPR certification (required)

- Strong swimming skills

- Excellent guest service skills

- Valid driver's license

- Teaching experience or certification

- Must be 18 years of age

These qualifications are essential for the Swim Instructor/Lifeguard position to ensure the safety and well-being of all students while providing a positive experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
