Job Description - Cloud / NSX Network Engineer
Location: NYC,NY
Duration: 6 months
Primary Roles and Responsibilities

Implementation, operation, and maintenance of Azure ExpressRoute and Virtual networks.
Implementation, operation, and maintenance of VMWare NSX virtual networks.

Education and Experience

Microsoft Azure Network Engineering Associate or higher.
VMWare NSX-T Data Center professional certification.
Experience working with large enterprise or service provider networks.
Deep understanding of VMWare NSX networking fundamentals and experience managing NSX network.
Hands-on experience configuring micro-segmentations using VMWare dFW.
Hands-on experience working with VMWare vRNI
Hands-on experience configuring and deploying virtual networks in Microsoft Azure.
Deep understanding of PowerShell and working with Azure portal / APIs.
Have experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting NSGs and UDR on Microsoft Azure.

Secondary Network Engineering Experience that would be beneficial

Experience working on Cisco Enterprise routers & switches (Nexus and Company platforms)
Experience working with Cisco ACI.
Experience working on Check Point & Palo Alto Firewalls.
Excellent understanding of all routing protocols
Excellent understanding of switching and layer 2 protocols
Experience working with Cisco Client
Experience working with Cisco VoIP and Wireless products.
Experience working on F5 / AVI load balancers.
Experience deploying and managing remote access VPNs.
Good understanding of Microsoft Active directory
Experience working with Fortinet based SDWAN networks.
Experience working with VMWare NSX
Experience working with NetScout nGenius / Cisco Tetration
Experience working with network monitoring systems OpManager / Solarwinds / ScienceLogic.
