Studio Director:

As a Studio Director, you will be responsible for providing leadership and daily direction to the sales and group personal training teams in our facilities. This critical position must have a solid understanding of sales and operational excellence while also being able to provide motivation for members while leading workouts. As the lead for the studio you must execute a lead generation / marketing strategies plan to increase fitness program sales as well as promote the health and wellness benefits that are associated with a healthy lifestyle. This leader must pose a high caliber approach to coaching and staff development.

About Orangetheory Fitness:

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

· Responsible for creating a positive, high energy, respectful OTF studio environment.

· Responsible for managing all aspects of the OTF fitness staff using the OTF business model.

· Model all studio activities through self-involvement (leading by example)

· Hire, train, and educate all OTF staff for success using OTF business model. Properly empower, monitor, and evaluate specifically assigned responsibilities of sales team.

· Lead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales drivers (pre-sale events, studio events, outreach)

· Responsible for organization, cleanliness of the facility, and operationally sound

· Responsible for OTF class schedule daily, weekly, and monthly as well as management of the MBO system.

· Responsible for follow up communication with new and current OTF studio clients.

· Conducts monthly fitness staff meetings and attends all relative, mandatory webinars and other requested corporate meetings

· Leads or assists Sales Associates with OTF studio tours/sales with new prospects as well as staying current with pricing options

· Check-in, Telephone Inquires (general and sales related), Guest Registrations, customer care, change requests and document scanning

· Responsible for coaches’ evaluations and OTF staff performance reviews. Manage disciplinary actions involving all OTF studio employees.

· Ensure OTF branding through consistency and continuity in all actions. Enforce OTF corporate policies, business policies, systems, and processes.

· Responsible for meeting performance metrics (KPI), revenue, and 30-60-90

· Must maintain 60% closing of 80% class utilization

Job Qualifications:

· Must have current CPR/AED certification

· Must hold a current fitness certification from an OTF approved education company such as ACSM, ACE PT/GFI, NASM, NSCA, and AFFA PT/GFI.

· Must have strong computer skills required with knowledge of MS office programs (Excel, Word, etc.)

· Maintain the highest level of customer service and provide effective decision-making regarding customer service issues.

· Must work 40 hours, including minimum of 6-10 classes per week. All other hours are required to be in the studio - NO EXCEPTIONS, unless approved by your regional manager.
