SUMMARY: Warehouse Associate is responsible for verifying and unloading incoming shipments for the warehouse. Responsible for supplying materials and ingredients to production departments according to demand. (Unloading, operating forklifts, stocking materials according to slot location).

• Receives and distributes goods and transfers supplies from receiving dock to its proper location
• Ensures purchase orders/BL orders are received, verified and paperwork’s processed accurately in a timely manner. Notifies supervisor of any purchase order/BL discrepancies
• Processes and maintains internal documentation for Quality Assurance and other department- related items
• Assists in company product trace exercises during QA plant audits and provides proper documentation
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping pallets and racking area neat. Organizes warehouse and work areas for orderliness
• Ensures lot numbers are recorded at time of receiving
• Properly stores and labels all materials, cookies, and finished products
• Maintains and safeguards all areas (interior building structure, surrounding areas including all entrances and gates
• Replenishes, restocks, and rotates all raw ingredients, packing materials and factory supplies to ensure that all merchandise will be used before expiration date (FIFO)
• Notifies Warehouse Management when product nears the expiration date
• Properly records and disposes rejected ingredients, materials, trash, and chemicals
• Safely operates company vehicles (10,000 GVW , 10-25%, 0.5 -2 hours), forklifts, hand truck/ warehouse carts, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment in a professional and safe manner
• Maintains the condition and cleanliness of vehicle interior and exterior. Refuels as needed
• Assists in identifying vehicle maintenance requirements and follows maintenance schedule
• Responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the warehouse(s) and organizes to company standards
• Provides assistance to the baking and packing department when needed
• Observes and abides by all company’s safety policy including OSHA regulations
• Assists in inventory management, reorder, and replenishment
• Performs housekeeping of common areas and restroom, packing, moving, and setting up of furniture, cabinets, equipment, etc
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse and receiving experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred

SKILLS:

• Represents the company brand image and shares aloha to all customers, business partners, and co-workers at all levels throughout the company
• Able to understand and follow oral and written work instructions
• Good communications skills
• Able to work cohesively with fellow workers
• Possession of driver’s license
• Clean driving abstract/record
• Able to obtain DOT medical card

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Regularly stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift and use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, carry, and reach
• Able to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. on a continuous basis throughout the workday
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, grasping, bending, stooping, and squatting and some repetitive motions
• Physically capable with good vision and hearing with the ability to detect specific noises, proper equipment operation. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
