Honeywell, which is headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is seeking to hire a Senior Manager, Corporate M&A. This role reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Development.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the Honeywell’s strategic business groups (“SBGs”) and the markets in which they compete.
  • Partner closely with Senior Director-level SBG Focals and SBG Strategy teams to canvass the market landscape, summarize new market opportunities, prioritize strategic growth opportunities, maintain the acquisition funnel, and identify priority targets for partnership, investment, and/or acquisition.
  • For each transaction, support the Senior Director in leading all aspects of execution while working with counterparties in the Corporate Valuation and Financial Due Diligence center of excellence and Honeywell’s strategic business group (“SBGs”) teams.
  • Lead large cross-functional teams through transaction processes of all sizes, including corporate development, SBG commercial, strategy, and finance teams as well as functional teams.
  • Evaluate buy/build/partner/invest options to determine optimal ways to accomplish strategic objectives.
  • Manage the flow of external and internal information during due diligence period by tracking information received, information outstanding, and key decision points. 
  • Manage the M&A approval processes, including with SBG and executive leadership and, as appropriate, the Board of Directors.
  • Support the training and development of junior corporate development resources and functional teams; contribute to continuous process improvements.
