As a Sr ERP Analyst, you are part of a cross-functional deployment & run team with the responsibility to deploy the designed “Global Template” which will enable Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) to move from current business processes and operating systems to common business processes, enabled by SAP. The role also includes supporting SAP live sites through troubleshooting, training, and SAP system enhancements.

The scope of this Sr ERP Analyst includes:

  • MPS/MRP material planning in MRP
  • Execution of Repetitive or Discrete processes
  • Inventory Management
  • Generation of Manufacturing related forms and reports
  • Quality Management in Manufacturing processes o Engineering processes
  • Planning processes.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Teaming and interfacing with the HBT IT and business teams as it pertains to all aspects of the Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering function. This includes understanding the site business requirements and performing gap analysis, assisting with the redesign of processes, and testing to ensure conversion to SAP is successful.
  • Working with HBT Integrated Supply Chain leadership team regarding SAP capability, process & ERP changes, and SAP enhancement requests for building products manufacturing, products installation, and aftermarket services businesses.
  • Completing key deliverables as assigned such as functional site discovery and scoping documentation, business test scenarios, customer related data migration, and training users as outlined in the SAP deployment methodology.
  • Responsible for working with SAP superusers to improve their system understanding and roll-out of new SAP related enhancements and initiatives. SAP Deployments & Transitions
  • Work with functional teams to fully understand the global template for HBT Manufacturing in SAP and provide HBT input to the evolution of the global design template.
  • Capture, assess and prioritize key business requirement gaps from all sites that are part of a deployment project or a transition project
  • Drive best business process across HBT
  • Champion change management activities.
  • Learn the Honeywell SAP system to the standard required and ensure that knowledge is effectively transferred to other users.
  • Ensure all users can operate new business process and system steps effectively
  • Ensure SAP Global Design Model consistency across all deployments and transitions
  • Manage relationship and communication with HBT Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering leaders
  • Work to resolve complex issues being experienced by the business.
  • Provide SAP functional training to business users. Sites Using SAP
  • Help with trouble shooting and root cause analysis of day-to-day issues faced by the business.
  • Involvement in scoping and requirements gathering for Rapid Development and Enhancement requests.
  • Assist the business with testing of solutions prior to implementation.
  • Promote best practice process adoption. Projects involving IT function
  • Be IT representative for global projects requiring IT functional representation.
  • Drive communication and collaboration between IT and other Manufacturing Business Functions to enable smooth transition, coordinating changes to process, outputs & data.
  • Responsible for scoping, testing & implementation of the IT plan as part of the larger global project.
  •  Will travel approximately 25% to support project work.
