A position has opened up in Honeywell Intelligrated (IGS) for an ambitious Production Planning Professional. You will report to the Sr. Director Materials Management with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate your planning skills and play an instrumental role in the success of the company.

You will lead a team of Production Planners across the network for your assigned business or channel. You will support the Senior Director of Materials Planning to execute the vision and goals for your Production Planning function and manage the people and processes to achieve this. You will set the direction for the materials planning team, leading the forecasting process and assumptions used for material acquisition strategies.

You will set the direction for and oversee the monthly Production Planning process cycle for your network of sites, and ensure finished goods production plans align to the network supply plans and achieve maximum customer satisfaction and ensure working capital remains within the business goals. You will ensure the network Capacity Plans and Constrained Master Production Schedules optimize the labour and machine resources whilst achieving the business goals for cost control, productivity and working capital. You will partner with the plant operations teams to model capacity and constraints and will work with the plant teams to plan for improvements in throughput.

You will attend monthly SIOP Supply Review meetings at the network level to propose production plans and to present these and the associated risks and mitigating plans to the Functional & Business leadership in the Supply Review Meetings. You and your team will lead weekly capacity and operational review meetings to evaluate plant output and determine where changes in the capacity and production plans may be required.

You will create and drive a positive working environment and culture of continuous improvement throughout your organization to achieve the best possible outcome from your resources. Your will lead the development of your teams to increase their skills and capability in readiness for internal progression and succession.

The successful candidate must be capable of translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals and create a competitive advantage of the product portfolio. Focusing on building a world-class team, utilizing and deploying Lean Six Sigma techniques, driving continuous improvement activities and achievement of superior performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Initiatives).

Job Responsibilities:

· Review changes in the Net Demand Requirements / Supply Plan / DRP

· Create the guardrails for and implement constrained MPS - Master Production Schedules for the

site/network

· Guide and review the site Rough Cut Capacity Plans (Cell, Prod Line etc)

· Identify and address capacity constraints by identifying options and implications

· Create the consensus production plan for the network

· Actively resolving issues with demand, capacity constraints and material availability

· Collaborate with production and material planners to resolve issues

· Support the inventory/materials planners in maintaining accurate planning parameters / material

master data based on manufacturing strategy

· Review, take feedback, and optimize the capacity and constrained Supply plans in the SIOP cycle

· Own KPI's for supply - OTFP, Past Due, Site Inventory, MPS Load & Schedule Adherence

· Deputize for the Senior Director in SIOP meetings or other key leadership meetings where required

· Coach, mentor and develop production your team for future progression within Honeywell
