Summary Of Duties:

• Influence strategic planning for and plans for major technical projects or more than one project of major scope and complexity that significantly impact the business
• Advises and consults as technical expert to other technical and administrative personnel to drive and implement short and long-term projects
• Develops and conducts activities and programs directed toward preventing accidents, eliminating health and safety hazards, and achieving compliance with current health, safety, and environment (HS&E) regulations and Department of Energy (DOE) directives
• Prepares applicable reports required by DOE or regulatory agencies
• Leads HSE projects and develops processes to improve HSE efficiency and effectiveness
• Works with plant supervision, union representation and employees to resolve safety and health concerns
• Ensures the effective implementation of safety and health requirements
• Based upon an extensive knowledge of application regulations, recommends new or revised program activities to assure full compliance by Honeywell FM&T with current requirements of laws and regulations
• Leads, directs, influences, or coordinates the work of a major project, program, product or component for HS&E with responsibility for project objectives, completion dates, and technical specifications
• Works independently to develop safety programs affecting entire division and the KCNSC
