Achieves successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision within upstate NY (Rochester & Syracuse) with some travel to Pittsburgh, PA. You will follow detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions with help of Engineering teams. You will make improvements to training guides and documentation. You will achieve continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly fix any technical difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will train the customer on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment. You will represent Honeywell at industry conferences and provide technical presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect for Quality
  • Read/write software programs based on approved drawings
  • Modify/Troubleshoot for bugs and fixes in the programs
  • Supervise Jr Techs on site or on different projects
  • Attend all essential site meetings for safety compliance and/or trade handshakes
  • Troubleshoot wiring interlocks
  • Read datasheets/submittals to determine functioning of a device/equipment
  • Read mechanical/electrical floorplan drawings for equipment location
  • Coordinate with electricians or electrical subcontractor on site
  • Install or Repair Work Orders
  • Provide Customer Support
  • Present at Trade Shows
  • Mentor and Train Jr. Field Service Representatives
  • Ability to travel overnight. 
  • Ability to service clientele in Rochester/ Syracuse and assist as needed in Erie, PA.
