As a Senior Materials Management Manager here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of the materials management process and team. Your primary objectives will include optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support our production schedules. You will use your leadership and management skills, deep understanding of inventory management systems, and a strategic approach to sourcing and procurement.

You will report directly to our Director of ISC Operations and you will work out of our Aerospace division in Phoenix, Arizona on a hybrid work schedule.In this role, you will impact the company's bottom line by reducing operational expenses and ensuring a constant flow of materials for production. Your proactive approach to materials management contributes significantly to meeting production deadlines, enhancing overall business resilience, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize SAP skills on a daily basis to solve logistics and warehouse problemsand optimize materials management processes at the Americas DistributionCenter.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address logisticchallenges using SAP functionalities.
• Analyze data and reports within SAP to identify areas for improvement andimplement solutions.
• Optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts by leveraging SAP'sinventory management capabilities.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipments to customers and internal production byutilizing SAP's logistics functionalities.
• Provide guidance and support to the materials management team in utilizingSAP effectively.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence byleveraging SAP's tools and features.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP developments and best practices in logisticsand materials management.
