Senior Embedded Engineer within our next generation networked systems in
Life Safety. This position will be a key end-to-end NPI contributor from
Network controller’s embedded stack (FW/HW) to overall network system design including utilization of advanced debugging and simulation tools which comply to customer, cybersecurity, regulatory and industrialization requirements. You’ll participate in the applicable system, cybersecurity, hardware, firmware verification and validation reviews. In addition, support the required activities part of the PDLC including internal and external customer support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and development of advanced embedded systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Ensure seamless integration of embedded systems with overall product goals
• Oversee resource planning, allocation, and recruitment for the embedded engineering team
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance team efficiency
• Support system performance enhancements and product testing automation and simulation
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution of complex network problems via analysis
• Provide recommendations regarding alternative approaches and support via feasibility studies when required
• Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the embedded network engineering platform development area of responsibility
