As a Project Engineer in the Performance Materials and Technology industry, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects related to the development and optimization of advanced materials and technologies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects by applying your technical expertise and project management skills. The role will involve working on challenging projects that have a significant impact on the organization's growth and advancement in the market.
Project design support on highly customized Safety Instrumented systems (SIS),
Collaborate with sales, proposal team, and engineers to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
Support project plans, including task schedules, resource.
Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to source materials and equipment required for project execution.
Interpret industry-related codes and standards. Familiar with the ISA-61511.
Complete and validate calculations to confirm project design concepts.
Application engineering ensuring requirement are implemented.
Develop customer relationships - Internal & External
On-site assistance with commissioning, support & troubleshooting
Up to 20% travel to perform commissioning and installation support. At times on-site support. At times on-site support will include extended hours in order to meet project schedules.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical reports, progress updates, and change orders.
Regularly report project status, updates, and outcomes to project stakeholders and management.
Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency improvement within the project lifecycle.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
Associate degree in electrical / electronic or a related field.
3 years of design and project execution experience in process safety systems.
Experience working with project management tools and software.
Experience in design and programming of Honeywell system eg. Fail Safe Controller (FSC), Safety Manager (SM) and or Safety Manager SC (SMSC)
Experience in process safety Fire & Gas
Experience in Special Hazard Suppression Systems
Experience in bids & proposal support.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
Willingness to adapt and learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
