As a Pilot Plant Technician at Honeywell, you will join a team recognized for leadership, innovation, and diversity. You will work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, alternating between day and night shifts every two weeks. Your work shifts will be from 6 am to 6 pm for days and 6 pm to 6 am for nights, including holidays and weekends.
You will provide pilot plant support for R&D customers and manufacturing and sales support in this role. Your responsibilities will include conducting pilot plant startups and shutdowns, monitoring and adjusting process conditions, troubleshooting, and preparing and collecting samples while promoting safety excellence. You will also become proficient in the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) and contribute to continuous improvement efforts on area work processes to improve the group's effectiveness in supporting the development of the latest catalysts, adsorbents, and process technologies. Additionally, you will collect, organize, interpret, and compare data against expected performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Ability to lift, handle, and dispense 5-gallon pails and 55 gallon drums
• Occasional lifting and manipulation of bags, samples, and other objects up to 35 pounds
• Handling of chemicals and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Wear a full-face respirator
• Understand, per OSHA guidelines, any facial hair that interferes with the seal of the respirator is not permitted
