As a Lead Engineering Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team by providing technical expertise and guidance. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the engineering technicians, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and accurately. Your strong technical skills and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our engineering projects. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager. 

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our engineering projects by ensuring the quality and accuracy of the work performed by the engineering technicians. Your ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in driving project success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shift hours will vary between 1st and 2nd shift
• Setup test benches and equipment
• Product Integration
• Product Troubleshooting
• Product Verification and Validation
• Prepare Test Documentation
• Operate general purpose test equipment to include oscilloscopes, DVMs, power supplies and function generators.
• Operate/Test with environmental test equipment such as thermal chambers, linear vibration, tumble and dynamic vibration.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of engineering work
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
