Primary role is to support the technology infrastructure, such as Windows server operating systems, virtual servers and network switches and firewalls. Also, to support the on-site building automation, security and access control systems, installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. You typically work under direct supervision and may work without supervision. You will identify, escalate, and explore opportunities to improve the installation or repair procedures. You will escalate any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will support the training of the customer on proper usage for complex systems. Responsible for suggesting, quoting, and executing system improvements/upgrades in order to meet customer needs and grow the business.

Achieves successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision. You will follow detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions with help of Engineering teams. You will make improvements to training guides and documentation. You will achieve continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will train the customer on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment. You will represent Honeywell at industry conferences and provide technical presentations.

Key Responsibilities

· This is field service customer facing internship, you will be required to work at customer locations under the guidance of an experience Honeywell Field Service professional (Technician).

· Hands on work with electronic systems for building automation control HVAC, fire alarm, access control systems and video surveillance systems. Extensive experience with using multimeters, electronic test equipment and hand tools is required.

· Installation, Setup Configuration, Programming of systems forementioned.

· Experience with computers and networking, Understand and apply knowledge of virtual machines, system imaging, and networking to serve the needs of the customers (may need to possess certifications).

· Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual obligations.

· Proper use of safety personal protection equipment

· Security and other clearances as required by customer.

· Ability to complete instructor led trainings using a laptop computer and test equipment.

· Ability to follow work instruction process, use iphone to check-in and check-out site safety TLRA requirements.
