Our Standards & Automation team is responsible and accountable for the enforcement of Honeywell and Industry Standards, leading continuous improvement efforts including knowledge capture, design standards, standard hardware classification, tools and processes improvements.

Our team constantly interacts with different organizations for New Product Introduction, Engineering Tools, Test Services, Supply Chain, Repair & Overhaul, and Procurement. The standards engineer must address standard hardware requests, manage our command media, validate bill of materials, provide cost avoidance tools and standard marking expertise, among others. Honeywell is hiring an Engineering Support Specialist I for the E&PS Standards Team at our Phoenix Engines facility.

Key Responsibilities

· Standards Engineering

· Create models and detailed drawings in NX

· Technical consultancy

· Perform concurrent engineering with suppliers

· Project and product compliance

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent experience

- High school diploma, associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering

- 3 years of experience in the Aerospace industry

- Demonstrated experience with CAD tools

- Knowledge of Aerospace procedures, specifications, and standards.

- Due to site and ITAR requirements, candidates must be a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident of US
