Seeking energetic, dependable sales associate to join our growing team. You will directly assist customers, process transactions, help merchandise the sales floor, and play a vital role in making the shop experience a positive one. Excellent customer service is a must, as is your ability to learn chocolate & product knowledge.
**Responsibilities**
* Welcome every customer when they enter the shop.
* Attend to the needs of each customer.
* Process purchases at the POS.
* Process newly received shipments.
* Organize & replenish front stock and help merchandise sales floor.
* Maintain a clean & tidy work and retail space.
* Be enthusiastic & informative about all products.
* Create a positive environment for customer engagement.
* Work as a team to achieve sales goals.
* Take direction from manager(s) on duty.
**Requirements & Qualifications**
* Previous retail, sales and/or hospitality experience is a major plus.
* Ability to learn POS interface & equipment.
* Be personable, positive, and approachable.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Comfortable standing for long periods of time and able to lift up to 20 pounds.
* Must be able to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
