1.) Helping the vat operator in the below items2.)Remove raw honey drums from heating area and place in drum wash room and rinse drums adequately. Place rinsed drums in vat room. Remove lids/tops as necessary from each drum. Using the database, scan each drum. Dump honey into vat. Maintain adequate temperatures of the vat via boiler – ensuring no carmelization of the honey. . Ensure proper mixing of honey.3.) Ensure vat pump is properly maintained in good working order. Maintain a stock of filters in the drum wash room. Filter honey, while maintain filtration controls. Change filter as necessary. Maintain Reclaim honey. Crush drums in a safe manner.4.) Ensure cleanliness of the vat, sink, floors, drains and walls in both the vat room and drum wash room. Ensure doors are properly closed during production. Employees should be wearing proper attire and hair/beard net. All brushes should be cared for according to procedure.5.) Understand barcode scanning and the Vat Confirmation/New Lot via the database.
