At Honest Work LLC, we are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time Cleaning Technician to join our crew and play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for our clients. As a Cleaning Technician, you will contribute to our mission by providing exceptional cleaning services for designated jobs while enjoying the flexibility of an as-needed work schedule. The ideal candidate will have dependable transportation and clear communication skills, be able to work independently, live around the Kankakee County area, and, of course, possess a passion for cleaning! As a contracting company who works with property managers, oftentimes you will be getting units ready for rental, cleaning up after our Maintenance Technicians have completed jobs, as well as regular common area cleanings each month. Jobs can range from 1-8 hours of work depending on conditions, property size, and required tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and vacuuming.
• Disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces to meet or exceed specified hygiene standards.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners.
• Wipe down and sanitize frequently-touched surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as necessary.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in a safe and orderly manner.
• Identify and report any maintenance/repair issues or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
• Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality results.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
• Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with clients and team members.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Requires frequent walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing (vacuuming), pulling, carrying and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Must have good eyesight to see dust, dirt, and debris to be cleaned.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
