Honda is Hiring a Project Lead, Digital Marketing Near Torrance, CA
Job Purpose
American Honda Motor is looking for an experienced digital marketing Project Lead to provide product launch support for the Auto Brand websites. As the Project Lead the associate will be responsible for the overall content strategy for that product and ensuring the UX/UI design on the model landing page and various shopping tools is optimized to help improve the overall user experience. The associate will also be responsible for coordinating the production, development, and maintenance of the high-quality digital assets. The candidate will apply SEO best practices and use data analytics to help the user flow and drive lower funnel shopping actions for the for Honda and Acura Autos websites. Key responsibilities include project prioritization, resource planning, and project management.
Key Accountabilities
Coordinate and collaborate with Brand Marketing, Product Information, and other cross-marketing teams to provide a cohesive product campaign by developing and delivering engaging digital assets and other website content.
Plan and prioritize all vehicle model launch content/asset updates pre-, post launch, sales/event promotions and brand initiatives, ensuring that Model Launch requirements are effectively communicated to agency partners in a timely manner, and the brand is portrayed in the most compelling way possible
Manage agencies and 3rd party vendors through each assigned product model production process, from ideation to delivery.
Collaborate with internal Divisions (e.g., CX, ISD, Sales, Service), Departments (e.g., Advertising, PR, Product Planning, Social Media), and third-party agencies, to support key brand initiatives and stories, ensuring proper representation on AHM Digital Channels
Partner with agencies to optimize model launch team dynamics, product release workflow and strengthen overall relationships
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of content engagement on digital properties and asset usage download across the enterprise. Drive the brand’s digital analytics strategy, ensuring the site meets or exceeds established KPIs (key performance indicators)
Support Digital Operations team in user acceptance testing and QA on digital properties to ensure model release meets Stakeholder and Customer expectations.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor’s degree
6 years of experience in product marketing, digital marketing, or similar field, with increasing levels of responsibility
Automotive experience a plus
Communications, UX (User Experience), Marketing and other industry education a plus
Knowledge of Agile project framework. Agile certifications a plus
Strategic mind-set, with high attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Strong marketing skills, with an understanding of user design and asset development.
Understanding of UX/UI design principles, customer psychology/behavior
Strong project management skills, with experience managing and delivering upon complex, large-scale projects
Experience managing cross-functional teams and/or direct/indirect reports helpful, but not necessary
