Honda is Hiring an Asst Manager - PE Dealer Technical Service Near Alpharetta, GA
Job Purpose
The Asst. Mgr. PE Dealer Technical Service will be responsible to manage the daily activities of PE Field and Techline staff in providing Power Equipment dealers with technical support. Ensure teams gather technical information to support the Market Monitor group with the reporting of product quality issues. Coach associates to develop in their roles, while encouraging teamwork/collaboration between field and office staff to quickly resolve dealer product repairs. Drive system and process improvements to help teams more efficiently and effectively support dealers. Review and report (daily/weekly/monthly) team activity to Department and Executive management.
Key Accountabilities
Coordinate field staff activity supporting dealer training, troubleshooting, and repairs
Coordinate Techline activity to ensure accurate and timely responses to dealer issues
Standardize team processes and seek system enhancements to increase efficiencies
Associate development through coaching and training activities
Administer the reporting of all field staff and Techline activity daily, weekly, and monthly as requested by Aftersales Experience management
Support the administration of Product Regulatory reporting
Administer Difficult Resolve/Repair and Mgmt. Case Review meetings
Direct dealer interaction assistance to resolve dealer complaints
Support Market Monitor group with dealer follow up on quality issues
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Familiarity with software including MS Office tools and SalesForce
7 years technical experience or equivalent technical background in the Power Equipment, Automotive, or Powersports industry
Extensive Power Equipment product knowledge
Understanding of “Systematic Troubleshooting” and “Failure Analysis”
Dealership service knowledge
Supervisory experience and strong interpersonal skills
