Honda Racing Corporation USA is Hiring a CNC Operator Near Valencia, CA

Honda Racing Corporation, a leader in motorsports racing, is seeking a highly organized and detailed oriented CNC Operator to join its Racing Program in Santa Clarita, California (North Los Angeles County).

Responsibilities include operating multi axis CNC machines including creating tooling, fixtures to manufacture components in a prototype environment; tooling setup, manual machining ( Mills, Lathes), CNC operations using MasterCam Basics, install tool and data, transferring program.

Requirements:

  • Requirements include minimum High School diploma with a strong understanding and knowledge of geometry and trigonometry principles.
  • Must have 5 years of experience with Mastercam, close tolerance machining, using precise measuring tools, machine setup procedures and operate and using CAD/CAM software to design tooling, fixtures, and multi axis tool-path machining center.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Exhibited leadership, problem solving, collaboration and self-directed skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • PC skills for planning, reporting and activity tracking, use of Microsoft Office – Word & Excel
  • CAD/drawing experience
  • Equipment calibration exposure
  • Manufacturing machine exposure
  • Ability to read blue prints

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Machining: 5 years (Preferred)
  • CNC: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Valencia, CA 91355: Relocate before starting work (Required)
