- Greet and serve every client courteously and promptly. Answer questions and assist them in identifying and obtaining needed parts.
- Handle orders and requests for information efficiently via telephone as well as in-person clients.
- Accurately and efficiently use company-supplied DMS and parts cataloging. Efficiency in CDK and Snap-on parts cataloging is a plus.
- Achieve dealership goals for parts sales by generating high sales of parts and accessories.
- Maintain accurate sales and inventory records of all line items.
- Post-lost sales due to unavailability of parts.
- Ensure parts are charged to repair orders.
- Maintain accuracy and cleanliness of inventory on shelves and in bins by reporting items needing to be reordered, identifying any discrepancies in stock levels, and returning unsold items to stock.
- Requisition of non-stock or special-order parts. Follow up on specially ordered items and notify the client or technicians when received. Locate out-of-stock parts and submit emergency orders, if necessary.
- Maintain and excel in knowledge of products through technical and on-the-job training.
- 2 years of dealership parts experience/Honda experience a plus.
