Honda and Toyota of Seattle is Hiring a Parts Counter Near Seattle, WA

Honda and Toyota Parts Counter AssociateHonda and Toyota of Seattle on Airport Way are looking for Automotive Parts Associates.
Job Purpose:
Supplies automotive parts and accessories, retail, wholesale, and through our service center. Provide fast and accurate service to all customers. Promote company standards for superior customer and employee relations.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Greet and serve every client courteously and promptly. Answer questions and assist them in identifying and obtaining needed parts.
  • Handle orders and requests for information efficiently via telephone as well as in-person clients.
  • Accurately and efficiently use company-supplied DMS and parts cataloging. Efficiency in CDK and Snap-on parts cataloging is a plus.
  • Achieve dealership goals for parts sales by generating high sales of parts and accessories.
  • Maintain accurate sales and inventory records of all line items.
  • Post-lost sales due to unavailability of parts.
  • Ensure parts are charged to repair orders.
  • Maintain accuracy and cleanliness of inventory on shelves and in bins by reporting items needing to be reordered, identifying any discrepancies in stock levels, and returning unsold items to stock.
  • Requisition of non-stock or special-order parts. Follow up on specially ordered items and notify the client or technicians when received. Locate out-of-stock parts and submit emergency orders, if necessary.
  • Maintain and excel in knowledge of products through technical and on-the-job training.
Salary: $22.00-$25.00/hour DOE PLUS COMMISSIONS.
Position Requirements:
Skills - Experience:
  • 2 years of dealership parts experience/Honda experience a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Team player.
  • Flexible schedule/able to work Saturdays.
