Hotel Assistant General Manager
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of the operation including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment. The AGM will assist the General Manger in leading the team in the development and implementation of property-wide strategies.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
· Assist the General Manager in managing daily company operations to ensure positive, safe and profitable working environment.
· Coordinate with General Manager in planning short and long-term projects, budgets, expense controls, schedules, and labor.
· Assist in recruiting, training, payroll processing, employee onboarding and performance evaluations.
· Implement quality and productivity objectives to achieve company goals.
· Manage and oversee the operation of the food & beverage department, including scheduling, inspections, menu, ordering and inventory.
· Assign weekly cleaning assignments for kitchen staff.
· Ensure proper cleaning procedures are being followed on a daily basis.
· Responsible for ordering beer, wine, N/A beverages and sundry goods.
· Maintain product database and accurate reporting for self-serve beer wall.
· Evaluate key productivity indicators and implement process improvement initiatives.
· Guiding, developing, and/or implementing policies, procedures, and systems to improve business operations.
· Coordinate with Director of Sales for group events and forecasting.
· Complies with all corporate accounting procedures.
· Performs semi-annual Quality Assurance audits with GM.
· Provides excellent customer service by being readily available and approachable for all guests.
· Ensures property equipment is working properly. Schedule maintenance in a timely manner.
· Leads by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.
· Ensures all team members meet or exceed all brand requirements.
· Ensures orientations for new team members are thorough and completed in a timely fashion. Assists GM with ensuring all required training is completed.
· Takes proactive approaches when dealing with guest concerns.
· Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
· Provides excellent customer service by being readily available and approachable for all guests.
· Performs other duties as assigned and needed.
Position Requirements:
· Hotel Management experience required
· Food & Beverage experience required
· Understand cost controls and budgetary knowledge
· Ability to read, write and speak English, with an excellent grammar and communication skills (written & verbal)
· Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service skills.
· Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
· Work schedules may vary based on business demands. Position requires working weekends & Holidays.
· Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Specific Qualifications for the role include:
· Hilton experience strongly preferred.
· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
· Basic knowledge of network configurations
· Bi-lingual preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
