• Greet and welcome all guests.
• Be attentive to guest’s needs.
• Prepare food and beverages for service to guests and present food according to established health and presentation standards.
• Always maintain hand washing as needed according to established health standards.
• Control food to minimize waste.
• Clear and clean tables in a prompt and efficient manner. Clean sanitize and /or wipe down tables, chairs, high chairs, booster seats, walls, windows and floors as necessary.
• Ensure that the kitchen area and all cooking pans and utensils are kept clean, sanitized and put away as necessary when preparing food items and at the end of the shift using established health and hotel procedures.
• Ensure there are no chemicals stored in the kitchen area
• Weekly inventory must be completed and reported to General Manager prior to placing food orders
• Receive weekly food orders and ensure all refrigerated items are put away immediately.
• Perform department/outlet opening and closing duties as required.
• Follow hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times. Immediately report any safety/service incident to the Manager on Duty.
• Take action to solve guest issues/complaints and use established guidelines for service recovery to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
• Work as a team and communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.
