Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens and guest laundry are cleaned and laundered to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to providing a positive experience for our guests.

Duties:

- Sort, wash, dry, and fold, hotel linens and guest laundry

- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, which includes the addition of chemicals through automated dispensers and dryers.

- Inspect linens for stains or damage and report any issues to the supervisor

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area

- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of soiled linens

- Assist with inventory management by keeping track of linen supplies

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks

Skills:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred

- Knowledge of laundry procedures, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding

- Familiarity with different fabrics and their specific care requirements

- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including daily maintenance.

- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control

- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
