Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our team. As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public areas within our facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing a clean and welcoming environment will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests. Duties: - Perform porter duties, including cleaning and maintaining public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and elevators - Conduct industrial and commercial cleaning tasks to ensure a high standard of cleanliness - Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming, mopping, and buffing floors - Clean and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and furniture in public areas - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly - Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper towels, and soap as needed - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department - Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures - Follow all health and safety regulations Requirements: - Previous experience in facilities maintenance or custodial work is preferred - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required - Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
