You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

Note: Our clients are located in Durham and Chapel Hill areas. You must have reliable transportation to commute around this area with valid driver’s license.

Job Requirement/s:

• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean records.

• Bloodborne Pathogen Training certificate

• Must have a caregiver experience, but not required.

Key Responsibilities (subject to change depending on client’s need):

• Personal and/or Companion Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing, while respecting their dignity and privacy.
• Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns or changes in their condition.
• Medication Management: Ensure clients take their medications as prescribed by monitoring dosages and administering medication reminders.
• Mobility Assistance: Provide support with transferring, walking, and mobility aids to ensure clients' safety and independence.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to clients' dietary preferences and restrictions, promoting their overall health and well-being.
• Administrative Role: Coordinating care and ensuring smooth operations within our agency.
