Homewatch CareGivers, a non-medical home care agency serving the elderly and disabled throughout Maricopa County is seeking candidates for the position of Scheduling Coordinator. This is a full-time office-based position with benefits. Duties will include miscellaneous office tasks and shared on-call duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school graduate; advanced education preferred
· Computer expertise; experience with Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer and internet delivered applications.
· Must have experience with technology based communication platforms; ie.; business texting and multiple line telephone system
· Must know proper phone etiquette and have good people skills
· Must have a vehicle and be willing to drive as requested
· Experience in the health care industry preferred
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
· Ability to think critically and analytically to identify and resolve issues
· Strong commitment to customer service, quality improvement, and driven be proactive
· Effective communication skills (both written and oral)
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Computer proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office software
· Experience in non-medical home care, home health care or senior living industry preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Assures that cases are staffed in accordance with home care staffing best practices
- Collaborates with care team to accommodate client staffing needs
- Communicates to clients, employees, care partners, co-workers, and others as appropriate
- Performs documentation pertaining to all staffing actions and client events
- Performs Scheduling On Call duties as needed
- Responds to emergency calls and arranges resolution to accommodate caller
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Homewatch CareGivers is seeking a talented individual that has the skill set to perform administrative tasks and scheduling functions to support our homecare team. We are looking for a versatile person who is reliable, flexible and a team player.
Following a three-month eligibility period, benefits include a comprehensive medical and dental insurance plan, mileage reimbursement, wellness program (including gym membership reimbursement), 15 days paid time off per year, paid holidays, and more. All Schedulers are provided an i-phone and laptop for use while on duty. The candidate hired will be expected to have high speed internet service available from their home to run the necessary applications that are accessed via the internet and to connect to the necessary tools in the office, when performing on call duties.
