Hometown Veterinary Partners was founded in 2023 with a mission to empower veterinary professionals by building veterinary hospitals which inspire, uplift, and fulfill. We’re hiring Associate Doctors to provide care in veterinary hospitals right where you live. You’ll earn a competitive salary in addition to a full suite of benefits that start at 30 hours a week. We have tremendous opportunities for growth and to move into a Partner Doctor position in which you’ll operate your own Hometown Veterinary Partners hospital.
You’ll contribute to the culture and hospital of your dreams while providing care in your location. Case collaboration is encouraged and celebrated. We have a dedicated support staff to doctor ratio based upon your case load. Our support staff are highly skilled and constantly learning new skills, allowing for high utilization so our DVMs can focus on DVM-level tasks. This approach allows us to support one's development and partner together to provide the best care! The case variety keeps things interesting and exciting, with no two days alike. 
We provide services six days/week which include: appointments, scheduled surgeries, and preventative care days. Our DVMs have flexibility to swap shifts with teammates to maintain a healthy work-life balance. For those that like surgery (welcome but not required), we will have many opportunities! 
How you’ll be making an impact
  • Give input, ideas, and suggestions for continual improvement of the practice environment for the care team, patients, and pet parents 
  • Provide a positive and exceptional client experience
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of animal cases 
  • Perform small animal surgeries, if desired, with opportunities for mentorship 
  • Maintain a positive, supportive, and collaborate work environment
  • Guide and utilize exceptional support staff 
  • Provide leadership in the development or review of medical policies and protocols 
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited program
  • Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of operation 
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning 
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity 
  • Effective communication skills 
  • Positive team player who motivates staff by listening, respecting, and encouraging
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
