Hometown Health Center is Hiring a DENTIST Near Dexter, ME

Hometown Health Center (HHC) is seeking a FT dental provider to join our organization. We provide dental care in a variety of settings; from our practice in Dexter, to our school-based program in Newport, as well as our new state of the art bus with a full dental operatory. As a HHC dentist you will provide high quality dental treatment and education to a broad range of patients with diverse cultural and socioeconomic back grounds. This position is a key member of HHC’s dental clinic team providing day-to-day clinical direction and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and requirements in all aspects of dental operations, infection control, quality assurance, equipment maintenance, patient complaints and incident reporting.

Established in 2003, Hometown Health Center (HHC) is a leader in healthcare, providing more than 32,000 medical, dental, and behavioral health visits per year to 6,200 patients. As a Federally Qualified Health Center we are proud to be able to provide the necessary services to people who might otherwise not have access to medical and dental care. HHC is growing with a new state of the art facility currently under construction in Palmyra. We are committed to fostering a culture of kindness. Experience Required:

  • Prior experience as a licensed dentist strongly preferred.
  • Clinical and public health experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform all aspects of basic dentistry services and to work as a team member.

Education Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree from accredited School of Dentistry.
  • Licensed Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) required.
  • Licensed as a Dentist in the State of Maine.
  • Valid DEA license to prescribe narcotics.
