Homestead Rehab & Health Care Center is Hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Near Newton, NJ
Part-time (approx 8 hours per week)
Homestead Rehabilitation & HealthCare is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join their team! The COTA is responsible for the treatment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist which includes; providing direct patient care for their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Also, the COTA will administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Occupational Therapist and the Physician. The COTA must document and record the patient's condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy method. LTC experience preferred.
