This position is seasonal for our student housing property, University Village. University Village has 1,126 units/1831 beds.

As a Pool Monitor, you will ensure that all the pool processes and procedures are followed.

Responsibilities: Include but not limited to

• Make sure the company’s pool rules are being followed by all residents and their guests
• Verified Residency is required for entry into the pool area
• In the event of pool contamination (feces, blood, vomit or any other substance considered harmful) the manager or service manager must be contacted immediately, and the pool must be evacuated and tagged with a sign that reads “Pool Closed until further notice”
• Properly straighten Patio furniture and place any left items in lost and found
• Pick up trash and debris and empty trash container at the end of your shift

• Be able to stand and/or be in continuous motion for extended periods of time, while performing job functions with physical endurance
• Be capable of working in extremely hot temperatures
• Display effective communication, exemplary customer service, and organizational skills
• Must be able to receive and follow detailed instructions, as well as give them, and ensure detailed instructions are followed
