Job Summary
As a successful Field Technician , you should have excellent troubleshooting skills, service technician or public service field experience, and a strong work ethic. A top-level Lead Service Technician efficiently manages all service callouts, providing high-quality home maintenance services for any job size. Lead Service Technicians begin as Field Service Technicians performing exterior services like pressure washing, window washing and gutter cleaning using professional grade tools. There are opportunities to expand into management or professional level positions with sufficient experience, training, and demonstrated capability with a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer callouts and field dispatches.
- Meet with the client and explain the services you will be providing.
- Ensure the client signs the Terms and Conditions before work begins.
- Conduct routine equipment servicing out in the field.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment failures.
- Install and test new equipment.
- Perform home services often in the Florida heat to ensure client home quality and safety.
- Take technical training to utilize new equipment and perform new tasks.
- Maintain equipment stock in the company vehicle.
- Complete job reports.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Mechanical and electrical skills.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Good communication and training skills.
- Physically fit and able to work with heavy equipment and work in the heat.
- Prefer Public Safety Professional Background or Current (Fire, Police, Veteran, Teacher, Public Health)
- Interest in Learning Home and Commercial Systems for Personal or Professional Use.
- In school or training for another career is acceptable.
- Ability to drive a service vehicle preferred but not required.
