The Quality Compliance Nurse Professional is an integral part of the Quality Improvement initiatives. This role will collaborate with internal and external customers to meet benchmarks, goals and complete time sensitive deliverables for Quality Improvement clinical and non-clinical performance projects. The role operates as a subject matter expert in Quality Compliance.

The Quality Compliance Nurse Professional makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, works independently, sometimes in ambiguous situations and work may be performed with minimal direction to ensure the highest accountability of compliance and quality.

Primary Duties:

  • Partners with key stakeholders to lead clinical documentation, training, quality assurance initiatives & program development.
  • Ensures compliance with third party and State and Federal regulations.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter expert for regulatory compliance, clinical documentation, and training.
  • Master auditor. Audits staff to assure accuracy and recommends education and training related to results. Provides input to the staff performance evaluation completed and conducted by the Manager.
  • Complete RN delegation duties to the Southern Areas and assists as needed
  • Travel Required

Required Qualifications

  • Active nursing credential as Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years relevant work experience in healthcare settings
  • Knowledge of quality and process improvement approaches
  • Experience presenting information to internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Medicaid and Long-term care programs strongly preferred.
  • Project Management skills
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple or competing priorities.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
