Homes for Independent Living is looking for a Supervisor to join our Management team in Fort Atkinson. Our Supervisors provide direct supervision for our long term clients and assigned caregivers within one of our program settings.

What we need from you:

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid WI Driver’s License with 3 years of clean driving history
• Two (2) years of experience providing community based residential support services in a long term community-based care setting
• Demonstrated experience mentoring and motivating staff
• Ability to complete a background check, TB test, and physical

So what will you do?

• Performance management of employees
• Maintaining excellent communication with guardians/case workers/management
• Assistance with client's daily living activities, transportation, cooking, and cleaning
• Assistance with personal cares as needed
• Empowering the use of their own coping skills and making healthy decisions
• Supporting functional social and community skills, recreational activities and redirection of challenging behaviors.
• Respond to and redirect verbal and physical behaviors, property destruction, or elopement

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
