Homes for Independent Living, a MyPath Company is Hiring a Supervisor, Caregiver Near Milwaukee, WI
Homes for Independent Living (HIL) provides residential services for adults who have a wide variety of disabilities. We are looking for experienced caregivers to join our supervisor team. You will provide direct supervision for our caregivers and either long term behavioral clients or clients that require skilled medical care within one of our program settings.
Responsibilities Include:
- Performance management of employees
- Implementation of company policies and procedures
- Maintaining excellent communication with guardians/case workers/management and overall health monitoring of clients
- Assistance with client's daily living activities, transportation, cooking, and cleaning
- Assistance with personal cares as needed
- Empowering the use of their own coping skills and making healthy decisions
- Supporting functional social and community skills, recreational activities and redirection of challenging behaviors.
- Respond to and redirect verbal and physical behaviors, property destruction, or elopement
- Report allegations of abuse, resident rights violations, conflict of interest, harassment, or fraud to management
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Exercise sound personal judgment

Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid WI Driver’s License with 3 years of clean driving history
- Previous Supervisor experience a plus
- Passion for client care
- Patient, compassionate, and reliable
