Homer Companies is Hiring a Packaging Line Operator Near Lockport, IL
- Operate and maintain packaging machines
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance including troubleshooting problems to maintain quality standards and to keep equipment in running condition
- Conduct change overs and make adjustments.
- Perform quality checks for quantity and defects
- Maintain daily production/quality reports
- Prepare work for the next operation
- Follow all safety procedures
- Responsible for cleanliness of manufacturing area
- High school diploma or GED required, college or technical school preferred
- MUST have at least 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience with FFS style packaging machine preferred but not required
- Mechanically inclined
- Forklift operating certificate or equivalent experience
- Ability to work effectively with a team and independently
