HomeLink Solar is Hiring a Solar Electrician Near Rancho Cucamonga, CA

ELECTRICIAN REQUIREMENTS:

  • Certifications preferred on all types of battery setup. To include; Franklin, Tesla, Enphase and SolarEdge,
  • Solution-minded individual, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and communication making the customer experience even better
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing and able to climb ladders and work on high roofs
  • Proficiency in installing Enphase, SolarEdge and Tesla & able to work with various ground and roof mount racking systems
  • Have a current and valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check
  • Able to drive a large company vehicle during the normal course of business
  • Vast knowledge of the National Electrical Code, troubleshooting, and layout
  • Must be experienced with all required hand and power tool associated with the electrical trade
  • Skilled in the use of power and hand tools and provide training in the safe operation of power the hand tools to others
  • Experience in following and complying with OHSA, NEC, AHJ and Utility safety requirements and regulations
  • Follow all safe work practices.
  • Ability to correctly and efficiently install residential main service panels and associated wiring with proper gauge wire
  • Strong knowledge and experience of conduit bending (EMT) ability to produce quality day after day.
  • Knowledge and experiences with residential
  • Capable of reading drawings and electrical single line diagrams
  • Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience
  • Must have working knowledge and experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels
  • Assemble all components of a residential solar system
  • Safely plan and complete Main Panel Upgrades (MPU), GMAs, Battery backup installs, and other major electrical work
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues
  • Complete lathe and stucco to code

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Comply with required training and fulfillment of assigned duties
  • The MPU Technician is responsible for completing residential service panel upgrades in order to accommodate the solar back feed for a project
  • Ensure that the work is performed in a neat and workmanlike manner and compliant with all State and local codes and standards
  • Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ and Utility requirements
  • Safely plan and complete Main Panel Upgrades

Work with crew and complete all portions of Photovoltaic systems installs (PV)

  • Follow all safe work practices

  • Meet Utility (PGE, SCE) onsite for disconnect/reconnect

Provide top-notch customer service throughout the installation

  • Perform other related duties, as assigned
  • Perform service maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Collect data and photos during and at the end of each project
  • Additional duties include reviewing photos of upcoming jobs, coordinating with warehouse for material, and communicating project status and photos with Project Coordinator and Management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
